Thompson Aire Cancellation Policy.

It is our intent to provide an experience of highest quality at the best possible rates for all our passengers. When booking a flight with us on the internet you are reserving seats in an aircraft with a very limited passengers capacity. We try to keep the costs down for all of our passengers by flying the right equipment for the number of passengers scheduled for that day. We do not try to cram 8 passengers into a balloon for 6. We also do not like to fly our balloons with empty seats. These empty seats will still cause us to incur operating costs and cause the rates to rise for all of our other patrons. Therefore we have just a few simple (but non negotiable) rules for cancellation.

We require 48 hours notice to cancel a Scheduled flight date.
Cancellations must be done over the phone. 407-421-9322
If you have alternate dates we will schedule you at this time.
Charges will be made to your credit card before we will issue a Gift Certificate number
GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!
If you schedule your flight and fail to show up for the flight your gift certificate is no longer valid. We bring the proper size and number of balloons for the number of passengers, if your balloon flew and you were not on it your gift certificate is no longer good.
Gift Certificates may be transferred to another person.
Your flight may be canceled by our pilots on the day of the flight for weather or any safety concerns from our pilots. Their decision is FINAL!
We have the right to decline ANYONE! Our safety record is spotless. FOR OVER 30 YEARS!
Flight canceled for safety or weather reasons will be rescheduled for the first available dates.
We will make every effort to move other passengers or provide space for any passenger postponed by inclement weather on the original flight date.
Gift Certificates are good for ONE YEAR. Gift Certificates my be renewed for an additional year for $100.00 per person. A gift certificate can be renewed for 6 months for $150 for two.
If you have tried to use your certificate and the weather has been the reason you have not flown we (most often) will extend your expiration date. This is our privilege and not your right! If you have only tried to fly ONCE in the year do not expect us to extend your expiration date. If you have tried several times then of course we will.
